Known Issues | Last Updated March 27th, 2023

Before reaching out to us about an issue you've run into with the Data & Insights platform, take a moment to review the Known Issues indicated in the table below. The issue you’d like to report just might be something we’re already aware of and are working hard to resolve!

Known issues are previously reported issues that may result in difficulty using some aspects of the platform. While it is not a comprehensive list, these are issues we suspect might have the potential to be highly impactful. If possible, we’ll indicate a workaround below.

Dataslate Pages

Dataslate pages may be showing different layouts after recent the deprecation of Open Performance assets.

Spatial Lens

Region map (choropleth) cards on a Data Lens and region maps in the visualization canvas built for a dataset with multiple location columns can show data aggregated to the wrong location column without warning.

Identified/Investigating

Refrain from creating region maps for datasets with multiple location columns. Users can create multiple datasets, each with one location column, in order to create the desired maps.

There is work planned to support multiple location columns and region maps for the future (timeline TBD), but the configuration is currently unsupported.

Datasync

DataSync failures for "Missing Fields" where georeference columns - ":@computed_region_..." are not mapped.

Visualization Filters

When filtering on a numerical column for a decimal value without a leading zero(eg .8) an error is thrown

To filter by a decimal number, add a leading zero i.e enter 0.8 and not .8

Filter values/options do not appear on visualizations that are based on SoQL views where caps are used in the SoQL view's field names

Table Preview of Derived View Primer Page

Derived Views created with Group By(s) but no Order By clause cause Table Preview of Primer Page to not render. The data is still accessible via API and exploration canvas.

When updating a draft of a dataset enrolled in archiving, the schema change acknowledgment modal disappears if not selected first, 'disabling' the continue button that would otherwise publish the draft.
