Known Issues | Last Updated September 7th, 2022

Before reaching out to us about an issue you've run into with the Data & Insights platform, take a moment to review the Known Issues indicated in the table below. The issue you’d like to report just might be something we’re already aware of and are working hard to resolve!

Known issues are previously reported issues that may result in difficulty using some aspects of the platform. While it is not a comprehensive list, these are issues we suspect might have the potential to be highly impactful. If possible, we’ll indicate a workaround below.

Dataslate Pages

Dataslate pages may be showing different layouts after recent the deprecation of Open Performance assets.

Domain admins can edit their dataslate pages, or reach out to Support to have them replaced or deleted.

Spatial Lens

Region map (choropleth) cards on a Data Lens and region maps in the visualization canvas built for a dataset with multiple location columns can show data aggregated to the wrong location column without warning.

Identified/Investigating

Refrain from creating region maps for datasets with multiple location columns. Users can create multiple datasets, each with one location column, in order to create the desired maps.

There is work planned to support multiple location columns and region maps for the future (timeline TBD), but the configuration is currently unsupported.

Open Data & Enterprise Data 

Datasync

DataSync failures for "Missing Fields" where georeference columns - ":@computed_region_..." are not mapped.

Visualization Filters

When filtering on a numerical column for a decimal value without a leading zero(eg .8) an error is thrown

To filter by a decimal number, add a leading zero i.e enter 0.8 and not .8

Visualization Filters

Filter values/options do not appear on visualizations that are based on SoQL views where caps are used in the SoQL view's field names

Avoid using  capital letters in SOQL view field names 

Enterprise Data 

Measures In a Story

Measures created with a Report Period but not a Data Source or a Calculation will cause the Story to be uneditable and all content after the Measure to be unviewable.

To edit your Story, append "/edit" to the end of your story URL

Site User List

Sorting the users list by "Team" results in the list being sorted by username Enterprise Data

Gateway User Permissions for Non - Admins 

Non- Admin Gateway users who own agents get a permissions error when accessing the gateway administration page, <domain>/admin/gateway Open Data & Enterprise Data

The issue was resolved on May 11th, 2022

Featured Content 

Featured content is returning the Data Lens icon for all Charts, Maps, and Calendars. It is expected that each featured content item will return its specific icon.
