From the month of June, Socrata’s federated architecture will support the 2-site data model for our customers who want to federate public assets from their internal SCGC site to their Open Data Portal, and allow community users to interact with those assets in the same way as native public assets originated from the Open Data Portal. With security and compliance in mind, SCGC Site Admins can keep the community and anonymous users away from their Internal Socrata Sites while allowing all open data usage in the Open Data domain.
