Enhancement to SoQL Derived Views (April 12, 2021)

SoQL Derived View Improvements

SoQL derived views now inherit the column metadata of their parent dataset. This means that the columns in SoQL derived views will automatically have the same display names as their parent dataset, rather than showing API field names in the column headers; in addition, columns will inherit any descriptions and formatting applied on the parent dataset they were derived from. This closes the gap between SoQL derived views and other tabular-derived views on the platform, resulting in a readable, interpretable table and better data lineage transparency. This update is applicable to SCGC users creating SoQL derived views via SoQl editor.
