Platform Updates
Metadata Improvements
We have made various improvements to metadata, improving the experience for both administrators and publishers.
- Default metadata values: Administrators can define a default value for text metadata fields. When a new asset is created, the default value will populate that metadata field and can be changed by a publisher as needed.
- Multi-select dropdown: Administrators can define a drop-down metadata field as multi-select in the metadata template.
- Conditional metadata: Administrators can define a metadata field as conditional upon another field, where the valid values of a metadata field are defined by the values inputted in another metadata field.
- Improved publishing workflow: We have updated the metadata publishing experience. Metadata is now entered in a modal, so publishers no longer need to navigate away from the asset they are publishing.
These features collectively deliver a more powerful metadata management experience, enabling administrators to create more sophisticated metadata schemas.
Look out for these metadata improvements in April, shortly after the official March product release.

Related Content Tab Improvements
We have enhanced the Related Content Tab on the Overview Page. Users can now use search, sort, and filter their related content to locate valuable assets more quickly. In addition to these functionality improvements, we have also improved the page’s accessibility to meet current accessibility standards.
Deprecations & Removals
Grid View Deprecation
With this market release, Grid View is officially deprecated across all platforms. Deprecation means we will no longer develop on or fix bugs in Grid View. Instead, we will continue to invest in our modern tools such as Exploration Canvas and the Overview Page. These surfaces align more closely with our users' workflows and needs and will encourage users still using the legacy Grid View surface to move to these modern tools.
Classic Calendar Removal
All classic calendars have been removed across all domains. New calendar visualizations can now be created in the Visualization Canvas. Please see this support article for more information. Calendar Visualization
