Flexible Layout for Stories is Now Generally Available!

We’re excited to share that Flexible Layout for Stories is officially out of beta and now Generally Available. You can now drag, drop, and resize text, visualizations, media blocks, and more—giving you full creative control over your Story layout. With support for embedded content like images, HTML, and YouTube, plus a wider content canvas, your Stories will be more dynamic and engaging than ever.

User Inactivity Tracking

Stay informed and in control with new automatic tracking and alerts for inactive users. This feature enhances security awareness and supports compliance in high-sensitivity environments.

Password Change Confirmation Emails

Users will now receive a confirmation email after changing their password, adding a simple but effective layer of visibility and security to account management.

Warning for Large Dataset Downloads

To help prevent issues with large files, users will now see a warning when downloading datasets with more than 1 million rows. The alert suggests applying filters to reduce the file size for better compatibility with common spreadsheet tools.

Resident Assistant is now Generally Available

We’re thrilled to launch Resident Assistant, a generative AI-powered assistant that helps residents get fast, friendly answers to common questions, like “What permits do I need?” or “How do I pay my utility bill?”, directly from your website, 24/7. It’s trained on your existing content and workflows, ensuring responses reflect your community’s policies and services. This launch marks a major step forward in making public services more accessible and intuitive.

New Support and Education Portals

Support and Education Migration to Tyler University and the Tyler Support Portal

The Data & Insights Support and Education team has joined our colleagues throughout Tyler Technologies in adopting two critical new systems:

  • A portal for support ticket management
  • A portal for course access

You can access both with your tylertech.com account (register here if you don’t have an account yet).

While we’ll be working with you through these new systems, you will maintain your existing support service level and education package. Additionally, our knowledge base will remain available to all users.
