Make a Copy of a Visualization

You can now make a copy of a published visualization on your site. Community users are also able to make a copy of published visualizations they have access to.

The copy of the visualization will carry over the configuration option of the visualization but not the detailed metadata. The copy will be created as a private draft where you can finish configuring your new visualization.

How to Make a Copy

To make a copy first navigate to the published version of the visualization you are copying.

From there select the kebah icon from the Action Bar and choose Copy this asset.

This will bring up a modal where you can choose the name of your new visualization, once you have done so click Copy

After selecting Copy, you will be taken to the draft of your new visualization!

Note: When copying an existing asset, both public and hidden filters will be reflected on the new copy.
