Weekly updates (June 21, 2023)

• Made improvements to Perspectives Stories, including:

  • Accessibility improvement: screen readers now read filter values applied to the content in Stories.

  • Configuring visualization settings, including individual filters, will be saved only while in the visualization authoring experience (AX). When users configure visualization settings in the Edit Mode, they will not save to the Story draft. Check out this support article to learn which settings are configurable.

• Made improvements to Exploration Canvas and Primer Pages:

  • Added case-insensitive filter option in the filter tab of Exploration Canvas.

  • Disabled computed region column visibility in Primer page

• Resolved an issue resulting in large datasets not loading in Exploration Canvas.

• Resolved an issue preventing in-cell edits from being saved on date columns on draft dataset.

• Resolved an issue in Firefox preventing users from applying filters in visualizations.

• Updated the dimension column selector to be in line with the Tyler Design System for scatterplots, maps, and calendars.
