Weekly updates (September 14, 2026)

Accessibility Enhancements

• Summary tables have been updated to address several screen reader issues including: pagination not being announced, incorrect row counts being read aloud when a table wasn't paginated, and truncated column headers being inaccessible at high zoom levels. All of these issues have been resolved.
• Fixed an issue related to scrolling a visualization's legend panel. Previously, scrolling with the keyboard would scroll the entire chart. Now users can scroll the visualization's legend panel independently.
• Error messages shown for broken visualizations in Stories now meet minimum color contrast requirements.
• Screen readers now properly announce when a filter checkbox is checked or unchecked, so users get confirmation their selection was applied.
• Fixed an issue where hidden map elements could still be reached via keyboard (Tab), creating a mismatch between what keyboard and screen reader users could perceive.
• Fixed several accessibility issues in the data catalog, including low-contrast search and filter text, search text that could be cut off at small screen sizes, an unclear label on the search "clear" button, and pagination controls being read in the wrong language on non-English sites.
• The Clear All, Reset, and Apply buttons in the Global Filter Bar can now be activated using both the Enter and Spacebar keys. Previously, neither key worked for these controls.
• Updated the Tab Setup section for table visualizations to align with the Tyler Design System. Functionality is unchanged, you'll just notice a slightly refreshed look.

Bug Fixes

• Resolved an issue with the site logo not being clickable on Story pages. Previously, clicking the logo in the header did not navigate back to the homepage when viewing a Story. This now works consistently across all page types.
• Added missing favicon in Google search results. Site favicons are now properly populated so they display correctly when a site appears in Google search results, instead of falling back to a generic icon.
• Resolved an issue with date formatting in pivot table column headers. Previously, turning on Pivot mode caused date columns used as column labels to ignore their configured format (e.g., showing a timestamp instead of MM/DD/YYYY). Pivoted date columns now respect the formatting set for that column.
