Executive Insights Administrators can View As another user from the Users & Roles page. This means administrators can spoof that user’s dashboard through a view-only lens, and see any personalizations that user has made, including saved views and personal collections they have created.
How it works
From the Administration > Users & Roles page:
- Click the overflow menu (three dots) next to a specific user
- From there, you can click View as, which will pop open a separate tab
You will see a banner at the top of the page that informs you that you’re viewing as another user, and that some features are non-functional. When in this mode, you cannot make changes to another users' site.
Note: If a user has row-level permissions enabled, you will see a locked collection filter chip in each collection on the dashboard. The example below does not have row-level permissions enabled.
Click Exit View-as, or close the tab, to return to your own view of the dashboard.
How Administrators will benefit
- Administrators can audit access controls, particularly on sites with row-leveled permissions enabled
- Administrators can help other users in their agency troubleshoot issues by seeing the exact same view of the dashboard as that user
