The classification.categories field in the Discovery api will be deprecated on 8/2/21. The field will remain, but new assets will not be assigned values. Values assigned to assets before the deprecation will continue to be available.
Please note this field is not the category metadata field value assigned to an asset by data publishers. That is a separate field and is unrelated to this deprecation.
